Maysa Mawalla is a Sudanese dentist by profession, an international leadership and soft skills trainer. Holder of MSc Health policy form City, University of London. She is a public health professional widely interested in the areas of health policy and health research. 

Recently, Maysa was the External Activities Supervisor at MSF France in a project implemented at MYGOMA orphanages.

Furthermore, Dr. Maysa is the founder of Lead Initiative and Sudanese social enterprise for youth development empowerment and training. in 2020, Maysa was awarded 3 of the most competitive scholarships: Chevening, the OSF Civil Society Leadership Awards and Erasmus. 

Moreover, Maysa was recognized as one of the 100 most influential youths in 2021. She is a YALI alumnus, the initiative established by Mr. Barack Obama to invest in young African leaders. She is a fellow at the World Youth Forum, CIT programme facilitator at the United Nations Youth Engagement and Empowerment programme (YEEP).
